Period herringbone parquet on the ground floor of a conversion flat in WC2N. The floor was structurally sound but needed proper attention — loose blocks reglued, gaps filled, surface sanded and relacquered. The client had been putting it off for years. Once we got started it took one day to complete.

Gap filling on old parquet needs to match the wood tone as closely as possible. We mix the filler on-site to get a close match before committing to the floor.
